Some new opening hours for Mahrs |

| In the end, it is the business of Mahrs (and anyone else) to decide when they will be open (and closed). Very apt remarks about the primacy of Sunday lunch over Sunday supper, which, I suppose, underline the fact that the 'pub' on Germany is as much about food as drink. Just as a matter of fact (but not really relevant), my local little shop/petrol station is open 7 days/week, 8 am to 8 pm (9 pm in summer), as of course, are the three pubs in the village (7 days/week, various opening/closing times). However, the country pub, which is a mile down the road from me, only opens Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings/night. Of course, being the west of Ireland, all the pubs stay open to whatever time of the night/following morning! Anyway, of far more interest is Fred's continuing adventure, as he opens up more new beer venues for us. |
