| There's also a Prominent version on Sundays. The regular show we watch pretty regularly, just because it's interesting for us (still) to see how people live, cook, and "becook" each other here. It's not become inane rubbish over the years, or at least not worse than it was earlier. It really does seem like fairly normal people are doing it. And then there's the issue of language learning -- it's not proper Hochdeutsch, but lots of Straßendeutsch. Hochdeutsch when it's in Hannover, I guess. (But then Germans aren't as inane or rubbishy as certain other sorts of people, are they?) |
