| The bar you're thinking of is a small beer garden called Balkon. It's directly above the exit from the subway leading from the Hauptbahnhof to the Altstadt, built into the town wall below the tower. The two draught beers are both from Nikl Bräu and they sell a few other interesting beers plus a guest or two (in bottles - when I was last there a fortnight ago it was from Hetzel in Frauendorf). It's supposed to open in fine weather only (all seats are outside), but they were serving at 22:00 in the rain two weeks ago Friday. |
