| Annafest was great yesterday, I stayed until about 23.00. The coach driver got us there a bit later than hoped, but OK. Was a hot, sunny walk up the steepest stretch of hill to Blümlein's, then down to Hebendanz, where the beer just kind of sucked a bit, a bit sweetish. Different from previous years. Luckily, nobody wanted to sit at tables and get served (sharing my mentality), so we had the one standing table at Hebendanz, and then one in the hut sort of place to the right of the stage, across from the Schaufel Keller. The latter provides the best Löwenbräu, as it's bayerischer Anstich, not kegged. There's no beer at the little hut bar, just cocktails, and so people bring their own beer in and hang out. Very cool for us. Fabulous music there, too, the Black Mambas. |
