Annafest Friday, Griess - Löwenbräu - Kreuzberg Saturday |

| The group of ~30 beer tourists from the US will depart the Best Western in Bamberg today at 17.00 by private coach for the Annafest. They have room for a few people, should anyone want to join in. I THINK I will be with them, but I might start at the Annafest earlier and meet them there. Likewise, departure at 17.00 tomorrow for the Griess Keller, Löwenbräu Keller, and then the three Keller(s) at the Kreuzberg. Mrs, doggie and I will meet them at Griess, but the first two will likely depart for home after Buttenheim. I can personally vouch for the excellence of the Griess, based on a Mass & a Seidla there yesterday. Löwenbräu was also v. good earlier in the week, as was Hopfengold at the Brauhaus am Kreuzberg. (Various craft-ish barrel-aged Bocks not tested by me.) |
