| These rights aren't in the ownership of families. After the french revolution and the secularization in Bavaria (with many new laws and rules about the rights of the catholic church but also of other groups) the bavarian state has said that only the owner of the houses, that have had this right before 1804, will have this right in the future. So the right to brew isn't a reight of families, but belongs to land (houses). If an owner of such a house sell this house to a new owner, the new owner wins the right to brew until he will sell his house. |
