| Huh. Seems they've put a 1 hl brewhouse with wood-fired copper kettle in an old servant's house at the Schloss in the little town of Heroldsberg, along the train line from Nürnberg Nordostbahnhof to Gräfenberg, 14 km by bike through the woods from where I sit. http://www.red-castle-brew.de/ A top-fermented Rotbier (!) and a very expensive Doppelbock seem to be the current beers. I may have to sample the Rotbier, assuming I can confirm the kit's food grade, not from an old washing machine. Thanks to german-breweries.com for the heads up! |
