OT: EHIC

In CZ, our "regular insurance card" is actually EHIC. Nobody has any other. 

As far I know, this one is accepted only in EU, and there are some conditions. If something happens, you should pay the exactly the same amount as domestic people do. That could cost sometimes a lot. 

I personally don't care, I have EHIC, and also yearly commercial insurance (from my credit card), so I am not using any extra short-time insurances when going to Germany (which is actually quite often) :-)
