| We have a good history of using Priceline for Berlin hotel stays. It's never failed us. Otherwise, I'd be looking on AirBnB or HomeAway to see if there's a decent apartment or similar around town. The beer scene in Berlin is an odd one, though. On one hand, you have oceans of Berliner Pils everywhere. On the other, you have new-breed "craft beer" breweries and specialist bars. Beer prices are nowhere near as reasonable as Franconia or the Oberpfalz, and you will be confronted with the dreaded "Prussian pint" that has you paying big city prices for a half liter, but getting only 0,4 liter instead. |
