Yes, I had a couple of "runs" of re-used yeast that worked really well. It seemed to get the beer clear quicker, even within a week. That was all bottom-cropping from the secondary fermenting vessel, a Glasballoon. I don't do that any more, I bottle directly from the primary.

I'm happy enough with the condition of my homebrew as I do it now, I don't need to do anything more with the yeast. (But I am also not trying to sell my beer under a railway arch in London either!)
