| Mark, Your last cople of posts have summarised brilliantly exactly what I love about Franconia. It isnt just the beer, its that I can walk into a village pub and be part of something that has in essence been unchanged for centuries. And most of the time the beer is pretty damn good. As for the kellers, Ive loved every one Ive been too, the atmosphere is wonderful, and totally relaxing. I can drink great beer 10 minutes from my home, but Ive been going to Franconia for 26 years and Ill continue to make the pilgrimage every year because theres nowhere else quite like it. |
