| Didn't really intend to do so but that's how it's ending up! 'Bierkult' is not so bad, there's a lot of photo's and the text is quite straightforward. Just concentrating on Eschawo/Neuhaus at the moment. I'm up to 15 pages of notes and translation at moment. 'Heimatbuch Eschawo' is a different proposition: don't know whether Don has this but it's a typical local history, some quite odd German, loads of specialised words on medieval history (Stiftland, Stiftische, Hofmark, etc.), quite difficult but I'm getting there, slowly, very slowly! My friend Ludwig will help me when we're there in the summer. Actually, a lot of the book is not really of great interest to me. |
