| It wasn't planned actually as we haven't expected that it will be open. We have visited first the Roppelt Gastwirtschaft and then we wanted to do a short walk to see the Keller, as they wrote that it will be open from 14:30 if I remember... however we were there even before 2pm and it was already open :-) We had just one Seidla and went further to other breweries.... On Friday was a long day, we have visited: St. Georgen @ Buttenheim, Kraus @ Hirschaid, Roppelt, Sambach, Keller @ Burgebrach, Hermann Keller @ Ampferbach, Mönchsambach, Appendorf and finaly Hummel. ... so you could imagine that we haven't stayed anywhere for a long time. Saturday was a Bierwanderung day, so first we did a brewery visit by Andy @ Schnaid, and then by walk from Roßdorf (we were just in restaurant as Felsenkeller was still closed), through Geisfeld (only Gaststätte at Griess open, Keller unfortunately from 16:30), Melkendorf (Urlaub), Lohndorf and then to Schammelsdorf. In the evening Hummel and Wagner @ Merkendorf as usual. Sunday just a few: again Schammelsdorf, then Reichhold @ Hochstahl, Krug @ Breitenlesau, Held @ Oberaisfeld and then Zoiglstube in Eslarn. |
