Some Bamberg updates an rumors... - Hölzlein

I've been in Hölzlein 7 or 8 times in the last year and half, i love the place and the family, but the diacetyl is always has been really annoying in the Vollbier. Just one time around the end of October the beer was absolutely clean and really enjoyable...Then problem started in another close brewery in my opinion: Hönig, in October the Posthörnla was amazing (bottle), but the taste of the other beers was lactic...i've been there 3 times more (last one 10 days ago) and unfortunately nothing changed, Posthörnla also was lactic. Problems are really different between lactic infection and diacetyl. I totally agree with Fred about Zapfhahn and with Michael about the tap cleaning. Never come into a gasthaus as first drinker, it seems that nobody wants to be care about sanification of the tap line, i poured the beers many times from a clean lines, it's a totally another experience of taste (i'm thinking about a glorious Hellmuth Wiesen Urstoff Hell poured at our Frankenfest in Rome, it's just an example, i have a lot of them). They are living beers, they needs for a right sanification on the tap lines
