Absolutely spot on, Barry, its really opened up since Fred originally published. Have got that very bus a couple of times. We always get a weekend ticket(now €18) when we are in Bamberg. Just wish transport was as cheap and good in the UK. Worth checking out the Freizeitlinien which run May-October on the weekend, and seem specifically aimed at keller wanderers like myself.
