| I always have the same 2 problems: limited public transport between christmas-new year, and Ausschänke not open during the holidays or til long after new year. Barry, thanks for that brilliant VGN link (bookmarked). We always do good logistic research and get everything written down before the trip, but in some cases we do pick up printed timetables at the station or simply ask someone behind the info counter. They probably go to such a site to find the best connections and timestables for us. Some even ring the place and ask how exactly to get there! Sometime this week I'm going to book 1 of the 2 Fewos in Forchheim.
