Cask Ale in Oregon is mostly

Pelican? Brings back happy (hoppy?) memories of spending a month in Oregon back in 2010, Portland is such a cool place and beer wise it's just amazing. I enjoyed Hopworks, partly because I dated one of the bartenders (she no longer works there), but also the beer and vibe was great. Also loved Deschutes brewpub in downtown portland, they did/do proper cask conditioned ale, and gorgeous it was too - Fresh Squeezed IPA on cask was sublime.

Visited Pelican, Rogue, Walking Man, Double Mountain and a host of others outside and inside of Portland itself. Loved the Columbia River Gorge and all of the waterfalls. It's funny how many people I speak to rave about San Francisco and LA(?) and yet rarely venture to the best cities on the west coast, Portland, Seattle and San Diego. Beer aside they are great to visit, but if you love beer then all 3 are must visits.

Love the west coast, especially the north west, would love to go back.
