But hey, it's not an awful place, really. The main thing is the misnomer of "Munich on the Willamette," which really isn't used much any more. Locals like "Beervana," and in terms of breadth these days, it's more like a hybrid of Belgium, Germany, and a couple of other places including the UK and Ireland, and it's full of its own tangents as well.
