Good question Jürgen. Perhaps they did away with the bio beers as part of the contract brewing partnership with Maisel. Unfortunately we never stopped there to check it out for ourselves, because we had heard from other sources that they were no longer brewing. It was quite stunning to see how much the Fichtelgebirge region and parts of Kulmbach/Kronach/Bayreuth have been slowly converted to an exclusive selection consisting of either Maisel's or Kulmbacher. They wait for the smaller competition to falter and pounce quickly.
