Looking for Suggestions in Bambergland

The bus tour Jimbo will be on that Sunday is going visit Trossenfurt and Ampferbach.  In fact I'm going to meet them in Ampferbach as well after visting  Schwan keller in Burgebrach.

The main reason I didn't mention any of these in my reply to Jimbo (well I did mention Untergreuth) was either that I knew he was already going to visit them on the tour or he specifically asked for "clusters" of breweries to visit.  I assumed he wouldn't have a car so needed something easy to get to where a group of breweries could be visitied and I knew these didn't exactly fit the bill as far as that goes.  Yeah you can easily get to Priesendorf by bus.  The brewery opens at 3pm and you'd have just enough time to spend an hour or two before having to catch the last bus back.  No real opportunity to walk to another brewery/keller or two and work you way easily back to another bus stop or train station in time.  Of course you can always catch a cab but that can be costly and maybe a bit intimidating if you don't speak German.

These are the reasons these places were overshadowed, at least in my reply, and no doubt why they are less often visited than other less good places.  It's largely about access.  Maybe you should start a full time beer taxi business for beer tourists?
