OT: Visit to Chodovar Plane

The correct german name of this little town of Chodova Plana is "Kuttenplan".
After the Velvet Revolution in 1989 the Pilsner Urquell trust (Prazdroj) bought and closed most of the breweries in western Bohemia (e.g. Karlový Vary/Karlsbad, Cheb/Eger or Domažlíce/Taus), so this family-owned brewery in Plana is one of the remaining few.
Fortunately there is a quite strong microbrewery-movement in the Czech Republic, new breweries were founded (or closed ones revitalized) in - for example - Sokolov, Chyše, Velký Rýbnik or Kýnžvart nad Ohři. Na zdraví!
