| Today the weather was cool and rainy so I decided to stay in Bamberg. Got a late start but headed to Cafe Abseits by bus and met with Gerhard. Had a nice meal of Schnitzel Wiener Art with "western potatoes" and some spicy Thai Chili dipping sauce. Then we had a very big beer tasting with many Belgian, German, Swiss, English, and Scandinavian beers. Mark Andersen, Bill Pearson, Wes Person, Gerhard, and 4 others attended. It was a great time in the Biergarten at Cafe Abseits. After the tasting, 5 of us took a taxi to Stöhrenkeller for a couple of Seidla of Witzgall Vollbier (very nice!). I also had a shot of Tonkabohnengeist Brand as a nightcap. And then it was the easy walk down the hill to my apartment. A good day in Bamberg! |
