| Just FYI Mark and anyone else interested, in case you weren't aware, there is an excellent ICE Bus service from Prague to Nurnberg. It runs pretty much hourly through the day and stops in front of Prague' HL.N. station, upstairs out the front of the old station entrance (which has a magnificnent recently restored entrance hall) and then right in front of Nurnberg HBF. The coaches are new, comfortable and fitted with WiFi. They are rarely (in my experience) busy so there is plenty of room. The scenery is pleasant and the journey is somewhere between 3-4 hours, quicker than the train via the Oberpfalz/Regensburg. The price, when booked in advance is as little as €20 one way, a bargain. The connection comes up on the DB website so I'm sure you'll have seen it. |
