| Yes, please let it be free of snow! Now that I'm older I don't find it pretty or cool anymore! Last time it was gorgeous in Tübingen but let it remain a distant memory! The bike lanes in Sheffield are sad, when I see one. Had to walk literally next to fast moving cars (here at home there's a wide bike lane in between). It is really loud and the pollution is mostly from car exhaust. Perhaps because I'm highly sensitive it easily affects me. I walked round with a scarf across my face to block out the fumes. But otherwise I really like drinking at the Bath Hotel. Did go to Bakewell to visit Thornbridge. The English countryside is more my style. Was disappointed about the cheese situation in Sheffield, however. Maybe I have to go to Chester for the best stuff. |
