| I would class Alt as an ale,but I would class Kolsch as a "lager".But of course that is just my opinion. I suspect that really niether can truly be called ales,as they are not top and warm fermented,and are served at a cool temperature,In the modern beer world most of these classifications seem to have become redundant. |
