That link about Hotel König Otto in Erlangen says that about 70 refugees are coming to Erlangen every week. Erlangen has a population of about 105k, and if the number of 70 / week holds for a year, it would mean 3% of the city would be refugees or asylum-seekers. Which is strange to think of. Of course not all of them will stay in Erlangen. I was not aware that that hotel had closed. I pass by it often, and have not noticed anything. |
