In the local newspaper they have written about a combination of illness of the owner and a lower demand for his beer. The brewed volume has shriveld from 1.000 hl per year to 600 hl per year. And the local communities has visited the brewpub less often.

The village council is thinking about to buy the building and to rent it as a refugee hotel and to open a new brewpub or pub when the refugee wave is over (maybe with a new brewer and/or pub owner).

Many hotels and guesthouses, which need a renovation and has a poor utilization (around 30 to 35%) or has closed, has changed to the refugee business. They get around 20 Euro per bed with a 100% utilization. Or they seel their hotels to a refugee business enterprises.
