Winkler Melkendorf closed?

I just got back from Winkler where everything seemed like business as usual. They will be on vacation from December 23 thru January 1, but there was no sign of an impending transition. I even picked up a case for the road. If the said change really is occuring, it does not appear that this will actually happen anytime soon. I would be interested to hear more details from people who have alleged "insider knowledge" of the situation.
