Sounds good.  Haven't been to Glossop for 60 years, don't think I was drinking then!  Virtually ditto Wigan.  Sam's pubs are usually pretty reasonable, not usually smartened up too much, as they don't believe in spending money!  Only wish that they'd extend the cask offerings to include a mild but will put up with that as the OBB is usually pretty decent.  Where is the SS pub in Manchester, can't bring it to mind?

You mentioned the Magnet in Stockie, did you go anywhere else?
