I was refering to the bottled beers of franconia,Nicks post had mention of cask as well.
Most of the brewerys I have had a chance to look around in Franken fine filter their beer,
so virtually zero yeast left in the bottle.and very little fermentable material.
You are quite Barry your beer will last a very long time,as I assume it is bottle conditioned?
where as the Franken beers for the most part are not.
But I assume you have noticed it drop off in quality once opened.(unless consumed in one go)
