| You can make it - J. makes 15 to 20 kms walks with 2 false hips. Actually, she leaves me behind now but I catch up with the thought of a Seidla or 2 (or more) at the end! Worst experience was last year walking from Drosendorf to Kemmern - when we got to the Bamberg - Lichtenfels (etc.) railway line, the crossing had been ripped up and the next crossing point was either Hallstadt or Breitengussbach, adding 4 or more kms to the walk. We gave up and went home - about 16 kms wasted walking. To make matters worse, the crossing was reinstated a few days later! |
