| Thought I'd start a new thread, since the old one might drop off before anyone sees this: an article about the place in the Erlangen/Nürnberg paper, one in their apparent series of 500 Jahre Reinheitsgebot articles.  (That's somewhat scaled down, the original size of the image is available here. I couldn'T find the article online at the Erlanger Nachrichten webbie, if anyone else has better luck thatn me....) I have no plan to invest 3 hours' travel time for an evening of presumably very expensive burgers and beer, the likes of which would only make me wish we had something similar here, not so expensive, and not so trendy. But I do like what Jeff Maisel has to say about a couple of things in there. |
