Train from Munich to Windischeschenbach?
Posted by Barry on 2016-04-14 01:01:58
Sorry, not had a chance to reply before: the Euro 20 ticket is a regional fare (servus ticket) offered by train lines operating in a specific area (Alex, obpfbahn, etc) and is not available for the bus section to friesing.  As Jason says, the easiest/possibly cheapest method is to buy a Bayern laendeticket at Munich airport train station, cost euro 23. The ticket machines are very easy to use: click on English, then follow instructions. You will need euros to buy (say 20 + 5). Takes about 3 minutes. Alternatively, you can buy via DB website, using credit/debit card and print out yourself. If you do this, make sure that you have the card used to purchase with you when you travel on the train - inspectors may ask to see it!

Have a good journey - enjoy Eschawo!
