Couple of visits

Americanesque...having not been there myself, I can't say for sure, but what you describe sounds just like an American microbrewery with tasting/tap room. And the ales I've had are very definitely Americanesque: their Porter & Amber Ale are very competent, authentic examples of what you might find in an average brewpub on Main St., Anytown, US.

No Porter on there?

I have found Quark at Whole Foods in SC. But it is not quite the same as proper deutscher Quark. And costs FIVE TIMES as much.
