| Friday saw us make an assault on the Warberla region, courtesy of our good friend Juergen, and in the company of Jason. Lovely Dunkles beer from Penning Zeisler, an unusual zwickel dunkles from Meister, a choclately dunkles and a rather too sweet (for me) frm Alt and another excellent dunkles from Summer. As usual, grateful thanks to our driver! Lovely day on Saturday, so we decided to walk again to Leicht for another great Vollbier - right near the top of my favourites list. The walk to Loffeld was a bit challenging as was finding a seat. But, when we did, the Loffelder Dunkles was excellent but the 5-korn Jubilee beer was a bit underwhelming - a point agreed by our table companions. To be continued! |
