| Was worth a 50 minute bike ride. Was not as nice as last year, noticably smaller. Landwehr Altfränkisches Rotbier was the beer of the day (clearer than the photo suggests), though I only sampled 3 different beers.  Not sure what to make of this:  The Wiethaler Pale Ale was a nice effort but ridiculously murky. Why can't people get a simple pale ale right? I can, and I'm not a certified Brauer with a 3-year apprenticeship under my belt?  But it was worthwhile, and would be for anyone visiting in future. |
