Oh, but we necked countless cans and bottles of other rice & corn crap, back when that's all there was.

I love --LOVE-- to tell people at the Bierkeller(s) about who exactly it was that developed the use of corn & rice to solve mashing problems with American barley. Hint: it wasn't Americans. Hint2: Reinheitsgebot.
