| Bud? As in the ABInBev stuff? Nah. I was never a Bud man. And in my Oregon years, I was off the crappy old American adjunct lager (Heilemann, Schlitz, Schmidt, and Hamm's were what I grew up on in MN) and on the microbrewed & brewpub stuff. I did just buy 4 x 12 oz bottles of Yankee beer at Die Bierothek which do bring back memories of Oregon though: Rogue, Victory, & Sierra Nevada. Only *16* Euros, too! No Czech beer at all at Bierothek. I passed on the Old Tom (Ginger). If it were the normal Old Tom, I would've bought one! I also passed on the Trooper, which I've had bottled before, and also on cask in Stockport, where it was actually quite good. |
