| You've done better than me with Meusel, in 12 years here. I've never had a single one of them. And yes, it's just weird that it is so big and yet under the radar. Where have you seen it on draught? I *do* see their delivery vans going around often enough, apparently delivering to households in Erlangen. And when I've seen the van open, I've seen more cases of soda than beer. So maybe they do a lot of soft drink production? Dining at Pfister is excellent, but am not a huge fan of their beer. And yes, Först in Drügendorf is a *must* visit. Really, really should've got Barry & Jackie there last time. Don't forget Frühschoppen: 9 - 12 Sundays, IIRC! Huh. Looking at their beer page, I can't recall which one is on draught at the tavern. And that 4.6% Hell...that sounds new. I've also heard there's a lower-gravity "Drescherbier" there, maybe that's their Hausbrauerbier. |
