| A story about the traffic problems through Geisfeld leads today's episode of the Frankenschau. An idea to build a diversion around the village has been discussed since the 80's, but is unlikely to be acted upon. Seven other villages would have to approve a project, none of which would benefit from it. FWICT, a new diversion road to the west of Geisfeld would run from the intersection of the roads to Bamberg and Roßdorf am Forst to the SE, joining up with the road between Geisfeld and Leesten. This would run close to the Griess Keller, just to the south thereof. That would suck IMO. WARNING: NO BRAUEREI CONTENT. NEITHER KRUG NOR GRIESS IS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO, only glasses of St. Georgen Bräu being drunk by some gents at the end. Not sure where they're sitting -- the hotel? |
