| It was a quick (1 hour) Schnitt, yes, to take advantage of the warm, sunny weather before we leave for two weeks on Saturday. For the record, it was my second visit to Roppelt's this year. We first visited it in summer 2005, and I think I recall counting up 36 visits during Kellersaison 2006. Visits in subsequent years were perhaps less frequent than that, with the last couple of years dropping off quite a bit. But this is the first time since 2005 that I've only been there twice by late July. And only one visit to the Griess Keller in Geisfeld and Sauer in neighbouring Roßdorf this year so far, too. Sitting around drinking beer in the afternoon just isn't part of our lifestyle this year. Nor is the 2 - 3 hours of cycling there and back. (Grüße von Uschi & Gerhard.) |
