| Just visited Kommune Hombauer in Neuhaus Pegnitz, extremely tasty, but a hint too sweet for my palate, but @5.8% a little to strong to start the day !!! Moved on to Brauerei Ubelhack in Weiglathal, a very tasty & acceptable brew, even contract brewed. Then to Buchenbach, Brauerei Herold, I must admit I was a little disappointed, found it rather thin, with little flavour, may be just my opinion, but the pub was very busy with lunchtime trading. I am now @ Kurzdorfer, Lindenhardt, very impressed with the Vollbier Dunkel, not too sweet & full bodied, most enjoyable. Will be meeting friends in Gradl, Leups later on, will report back on my thoughts tomorrow. Peter |
