Helles/landbier's in the city of Bamberg?

If you want unfiltered beers the following options are good

- Mahrs brau (Ungespundetes)
- Monchsambacher lager gravity at Rothenschild (Friday/Saturday evenings only) or keg at cafe abseits
- Brauerei sauer Urbrau gravity at galerie am stephansberg
- gansteller bier at abseits (often not always), eckerts (excellent restaurant) or Stohrenkeller (also the excellent witzgall landbier) .

Of of course if you venture out of Bamberg the options increase dramatically but as it sounds like you are new to Bamberg so perhaps keep to the city for a few trips.
