Franken to Allgau journey...Ottobeuren & Kaufbeuren

Actually, Gordon, about twice as expensive - and, like with Mindelheim, is it really worth all the trouble?

I suppose that we're just too spoiled with Franken and the Oberpfalz. Relatively inexpensive and high quality beer. What more could you ask?

Would like to stay in Kaufbeuren and go to Gernot Wilding's place but the logistics are just too tricky.
