Franken to Allgäu journey

First question, why don't you stay overnight in Memmingen (supposedly two breweries there)?

Second, glancing at a map, there is a town called Mindelheim to the east of Memmingen.  Mindelheim has a brewery and a few hotels, and the DB app shows me that there is service (RB Bus) to Memmingen airport (1 hour trip) at a cost of €6.20
