| Then there's the problem with what Stadtverkehr Memmingen misleading refer to as the airport bus but is, in fact, a local bus service that happens to call in at the airport. And, on which, to aggravate matters, they won't accept Länder-Tickets and charge €3 for a crowded 18 minute ride - and I thought Ireland was the land of rip-offs! Anyway, the buses leave the ZOB at 12.35 - to early for the 12.53 arrival or 13.46, which is cutting it too fine, even for Ryanair boarding. The alternative, which also leaves things a bit dodgy, is to take a taxi, of there's one there, which costs about €12, though sometimes you can persuade some others to share. As you can see, I have studied this from all angles, actually having done the trip on many, many occasions, as you know. May stick with Ulm and try to visit either Hirschbrau or Schloessle in Neu-Ulm. |
