| For the record I didn't say it was unfair to critcize. I just agree with Juergen that the beer and place isn't that bad. The Helles as I recall was nothing special but it was decent. It wasn't bad like Ambrausanium level of suckage. Not even close. I also had their Dunkel but don't recall what I thought of that. It was a long day and over a year ago. As I recall the food at the pub was very good for what it's worth. Put it this way, if someone were to decide to wander around that area to Meister and Penning then I wouldn't discourage them from visiting Nikl as well. As an added bonus it gets you walking distance from a train station so it's a good stop on the way back. |
