I can't imagine that my namesake is really cashing in. Is the Zoigl name a big puller in Portland? I think that Alan has a genuine regard for the ethos of Zoigl and the name is more in homage.
Personally, I feel more aggrieved at the theft of IPA, which was a part of my beer drinking youth! The contemporary attempts seem to have no resemblance to IPA as I knew it. Now I read that Spitalbrau in Regensburg are brewing an IPA - sacrilege!
