| Thanks to everyone for the reports & thanks Nick for the pictures. I enjoyed seeing what I missed. I would have liked to join you folks yesterday but my non-beer-drinking wife had a migraine and since I would need a designated driver, I took a pass. I was more than surprised about the comments re the Mandarina Bavaria Kellerbier since I had some at Abseits two weeks ago and thought it was wonderful. Re the glasses, yes they were the ones used in Munich, which were also non-returnable. Since Munich was cancelled, for clear reasons, with two days still to go, one can imagine how many glasses are still sitting around somewhere, perhaps with each individual participating brewery. I hope more people showed up later yesterday and today to make it a successful event. |
