| Interesting about Fuller's, Fred, I've actually been around the Chiswick Brewery but it was more than 40 years ago, so I've no idea what they did. A copious amount of free beer wasn't too helpful in understanding, either! Anyway, your description of their process seems pretty similar to that of Courage/George's in the old Bristol brewery, in brewing BA (a low strength bitter that Nick would have loved), Best Bitter and, of course, Director's, which used to be a top beer. |
